Thanks for posting. Dyson would have made the perfect collectors' vacuum if it came complete with a see thru case/carton and personally autographed by James with sequential numbers in limited supply. No offense Ace to you. You're just the messenger.
Recall a similar DC15 ball model in white as a Chrsitmas exclusive originally with a $519 MSRP at COSTCO. I personally demoed at the flont entrance of one of the stores in Virginia. In a 3 hour tour, no sales and hardly any interest at all by weekday customers. Back in the day when the economy and dyson were doing well. Even Consumer Reports rated it decently. It didn't help the sales.
