Re: B&S lawn tractor engine

The above question is the same as mine! model 294777 type 0108-01 code 89112111. Craftsman AWS 14h.p. vanguard.

Cleaned the passages in the bowl screw with bread wrapper wire, took out needle valve and sprayed carb cleaner all

thru the carb. Silly question!!does the solenoid need to be grounded to the frame or motor? Should there be an

audible click when you turn the key on and off? Am jumping off of my truck cause I wore battery down.

Go buy a turkey baster. Long plastic tube with rubber bulb at
the top. Squeeze bulb, stick in tank, suck up the old gas-repeat till empty.
Put old gas in car or truck.Gets diluted down pretty good.

My ? will the side plate with the oil tube interchange from #1 fit onto #2?
Also will the cam shaft interchange and run?
I need to find out before- buying a gasket set and cleaning the carb.

TIRE PRESSURE!!

Model 38064 6h.p. 22" wide Power Throw, purchased in 2004.

Page 13 of the operators manual. The tires are over inflated at the factory for shipping. Reduce the pressure to between twelve (12) and fifteen (15) (psi)pounds per
square inch.(end of paragraph) Equal pressure will help to keep the blower in a straight line and keep the scraper bar flat on the ground. I believe that over or under inflating any tire is not good, for any reason!!!
