Maytag Ice2O

Maytag's marketing department got cute with the new Maytag Ice2O French Door Bottom Freezer refrigerator. But all cuteness aside, it's a nice option for the family with refrigerator needs. You get side by side doors on the top and the freezer on the bottom in a pullout drawer.

Maytag says they are the first to put an external ice and water dispenser (with filter…nice) on a French door fridge along with the largest fresh food capacity. With a beverage chiller compartment, you can keep two gallons of milk, soda or other drinks just that much colder than the rest of the refrigerated items.

The Deli Drawer is wider than normal and will store platters of meat or pizza conveniently. And to avoid the restacking to accommodate a taller than normal item, Maytag has included an elevator shelf that rolls up and down, even when fully loaded. Capacity is at 25 cu. ft., and current msrp is from $2200 to $2500.  

For the aesthetically minded, it comes in stainless steel, high gloss black, white or bisque (think beige).
