Is it worth buying blower w/tecumseh engine??
#1   Nov 9, 2008 7:57 pm
Since engines can outlast the snowblower does it really matter if the snowblower has a tecumseh engine since they r stopping production soon?Or just wait till Ariens starts outfitting their snowblowers with Briggs and Stratton engines?

I said electric chute rotator. It's on the signature pro models.I think your machine will have less problems than the pro model .What happens if that chute rotator fails ?Can it be manually overridden?

Borat you are correct so I guess Simplicity is also guilty. Why would a company take a simple chute rotator and make it electric??I think an electric chute rotator has a higher failure rate than the regular mechanism...They all have their own gizmos for a sales advantage.
simplicity vs ariens

How come Simplicity can't make a machine that throws snow farther than an Ariens? Are Ariens just engineered better?

I read that ariens friction disc can shifted on the fly.Is that true and can the others also be shifted on the fly from toro ,simplicity etc.
