Yup have had 1 since 1990. live in the central CT area. Funny thing is mine is for sale, just had the drive linkage repaired at OPE dealer and complete tune up. Have 165.00 reciept for repairs.

Regarding climbing snow pile. On my old Ariens manual it suggests flipping shoes, placing narrow edge down.

Just used for the second time. Had a nice 10" wet snow.

Did my 1st oil change, removed left tire for clearence to oil drain. Easy to do just pull clink pin and slide it off.

Had a problem with interlocking handles, should be able to release auger handle with drive handle depressed to allow free right hand for chute adjustment etc.

I removed plastic cowling to get access to linkage. Found the "Latch Interlock" cracked causing it to get pushed down by auger lever. Will stop by dealer on Monday for part replacement.
