Old Arien 504 Snowblower Oil change ??
#1   Jun 14, 2011 1:06 am
OK

This ariens is old, probably over 20 years old.   Model number : 932000 serie

I'm not the first owner and probably not the second either. So basicaly this snowblower has been altered and repaired countless time.

My question is simple.  I only need to change the oil.

I have located (i think) the shaft to remove the old oil.

But i'm not to sure where to put the new old in.   Unlike other snowblowers i've seen this one doesn't have the  gauge stick to check the oil level...
So i'm not quite sure where you put the new oil.

There is small yellow cap that you can unscrew with your fingers... it has a diameter of a 10 cents.

The other caps is the fuel cap.

Maybe im not looking at the right place...  So does anyone know where you put the new oil and how much oil does this  5HP old Ariens needs ?

Thanks.
