I've summerized my blower
Original Message   Mar 2, 2005 6:53 pm
I hate to say it but I  think winter is over for me, in utah.  So I adjusted the belts lubricated the hex shaft changed the oil and drained the gas, then ran the motor to get rid of any stabilized gas left in the carb.   Did I miss anything?  does anyone make a cover for snowblowers to store them?     Next task ,restore my snapper mower that just got passed down to it's third generation in the family.

I forgot about the mower. Did you get some advise? Can you post some pics and all the model numbers and such?

I really had to laugh when I read this because you know it's true!   I guess well see huge snow in SLC soon.

I will post pics and such for the mower in a few weeks, I will be needing the experience and expertise of you good folks to do it properly.

Another question.  on my toro 826 le I want to put in a leaner jet, is this something that one can do at home? or would I have to take it to the dealer

Mang, Sears sells a snowblower cover. It was on the Sears WEB site, but last time I checked they were sold out. You can't be serious though, it's too early to be putting the snowblower away! I'll be thinking spring maybe sometime in April

Wow......even seeing the word "summer" has me jealous.
It is 12 degrees here now, blowing snow, etc.
I blew out the driveway 4 times yesterday...(yes, I needed too, I was not just playing......)

We won't THINK of mowing here until late May........usually around Memorial day, maybe.  We still get frost then, so planting is iffy even then.
We have had snow in May before.

I'm getting to the point of picking up "Where to Retire" magazines when I'm at the dentist office........

Spring time in Utah??????? I would have thought you guys would be seeing snow until mid April. It was 15 degrees out in the Pocono area of PA this morning and we got just under a foot of snow 3 days ago.

Its not hard to believe Marshall...

Over here in Washington we are getting 60 degree weather right now. Many don't realise that we are having a early spring. And you guys who are still getting snow in March are having a late winter! And just to let all you know, I predicted our early spring lol.

I bet you do indeed do a better job.

She probably can't stand her son-in-law, "why did you marry him?"
