Broken clutch rod on Poulan Pro PR624
Original Message   Feb 2, 2015 6:17 pm
Anyone ever replace the clutch rod on a Poulan or Husqvarna? It just looks like it broke in the middle today while running it. THe blower won't move without it. I took the bottom cover off and it was just dangling there, not sure how the other end is held in place. Not an expensive part but it a no go without it! Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Nick

Not sure exactly which model that is.

The clutch rod is held in place by a hitch pin.  Look for a hole in the end of the rod.

Thanks, took the belt cover off and was able to remove the pin. Found a replacement in stock at sears parts direct website, hopefully all will be back together before next snow event.
