To FOG or not to FOG
Original Message   Nov 29, 2012 1:03 pm
For those who have more OPE time.....do you guys believe in fogging OPE equipment when in storage ?

I have 2 brand new EU gensets. I don't expect to *really* need to use them hopefully - except for maybe a yearly brownout.
I do think I will just excercise them with a portable camspray pressure I use for the cars during spring/summer.
Or maybe Not and just leave them in storage.

Just for the hell of it, I did fog them and just pulled the rope to compress....before putting it on the shelf until I ever need it...

No fog.  I just pull the recoil rope to bring up the piston and close the valves.
