This about my piston ring on my old 7hp tecumseh snow king I put those ring by hand without cracking them put piston back in bolt everything put a new plug start the engine no more burning oil check compression and back like a new one.

You said it! I have run engines with old rings and can't believe the consumption of oil they use. New rings are heaven all over again lol
