simplicity 860
Original Message   Jan 17, 2005 3:57 pm
i am looking at a used simplicity 860 snowblower. anybody have any info on this model. not sure how old it is but it looks really heavy duty. it's either that, or a used toro powershift 8/24. which do you think is better?.

They are both great machines pending the condition they are in (as Rob mentioned), use they have had and care they have received.  It is my understanding also that the power shift is all heavy duty gears and a differential.  Neither is a creamfuff though so even if used a lot if it was taken care of that is more important.  I like them both.  How much are they asking is a factor also.

Welcome to the forum.
