Easy way to determine speeds on final drive pulley
Original Message   Jan 8, 2005 9:53 am
A friend and fellow pecan grower was discussing recently about installing a in his Pecan cracking and shelling shed a conveyor to take his pecans from the cracker to the sheller. He was needing to know what size pulleys he needed for a certain speed on his final sprocket. I reminded him of a simple formula I learned from my days at the Vo Tech.=====engine or motor rpm,s X engine pulley size divided by size of final drive pulley size. It Works.----Will---sometimes called pecanmanwill
