I read some discussion of these on another forum. Close enough to be cousins? Siblings? The same? If the same, is Toro or NH the actual manufacturer?

AZ, yea, Toro makes them. Much like the Sim's/Snapper/Massey Ferguson-Agco tractors. I kind of like the Ford blue.
