Turbo Scrub
Original Message   May 19, 2005 6:15 pm
I just found this in my garage.  I picked this up at K-Mart last year.  They only had the one...on clearance.  Never seen one before or since.

I haven't tried it yet but it looks like a good idea...a scrub brush that attaches to a string trimmer.  I almost can't wait for the deck to get dirty.

Anybody try one yet?

Wow, never seen one. Be careful it doesn't leave round brush marks. At the speed of RPM's a trimmer runs, I can see a potential problem if not careful.

As far as I'm concerned, the four important words of warning are right on that package..."As Seen On TV".  Gives me a "RED ALERT" in the back of my cranium every time I see it.

Sounds like something I'd pick up at a local store.  If not, they have them on E-bay.  But somehow I've trained my hand to contour a chisel.

That looks like a very nice thing to clean out Lawn Tractor decks! Everyone knows that if you don't clean the underside of your mower deck often, its a real b** to clean! Although, the only reason I would not buy it is because I don't want to take it off and put the autocut head on all the time. It would get teedious over time! Actually, I think I will just clean them via a preashure washer.
