I have one with electric start and one without and I wouldn't buy another one without it. You get spoiled!!

thanks for your comments about your ariens! If you have done that much with it you have truely tested it out and then some. I had an eleven year old john deere 828 D which at the time was made by ariens for john deere at that time and had good luck with that one. Now I sold it and got an ariens 9526 DLET and so far really like this ariens also. We have ariens dealers close by so that helps in case you do need themas others on this sight have bought other machines with dealers in their area as well. When you need the blower its nice to be able to just go and use it without having naggy problems for sure.

Do you think the 621 was too close in size to their two stage models? I have a 520 honda and it does a nice job, I have never seen a 621. The 724 two stage that they sell is a 6.5 hp. I believe? Maybe they can sell the 520 for less money to make it more affordable for the guy that wants a honda?

Steve, borat seems to know whats going on with the 9.5 versus the 11 hp. engines. Good luck with your 9526 dlet!! I sure like mine so far, we will have to compare notes after you run yours awhile.

I had a guy tell me that the 5 hp. toro was built by another company for them? Don't know if that true or not. A dealer had told me that the bigger models were fine but to stay away from the 5 hp.?
