I would not install the impeller kit as long as you have a warranty. Installation will void a warranty!!!!!!!!!

I have never tried this but I have heard that you can put your leaves in a large garbage can or a 55 gallon drum and use your weed wacker/string trimmer to beat it to a pulp. I can see why it would work. I have a polan blower/mulcher with the bag but I too have a large property with lots of foilage and tried it once.It basicaly is a pain in the neck because the bags are very small and you need to keep dumping and you never get done.

Hello: I have a 2 stage snow thrower. One of the sides of the auger is rotating but the other side is not rotating and is just pushing the snow, not blowing it. Is this a broken shear pin?
Yes indeed check out this topic same problem http://abbysguide.com/ope/discussions/21492-0-1.html
