Quicken gets a pat on the back
Quicken gets a pat on the back from the "First Gentleman" of Michigan for being on the "Forbes 100 Best Companies to Work For".
Mulhern
mentions a number of cool things Quicken does for it's employees. On this list is anti-bureaucratic which is kinda funny coming from a government type. He also mentions their willingness to have rockin' parties. At their 20th anniversary they brought in The Black Eyed Peas and Kid Rock in addition to having their employee band, The Loaners play for the party.
It is the belief of the CEO of Quicken that an excellent work environment leads to better products and services. Sounds good. I know that I would rather have happy customer service person answer the phone rather than a grump.
