Monster Cable’s Einstein
Einstein has gotten his hands into home automation…or rather the cachet that comes along with his name.
Industry leaders have called Monster Cable’s Einstein cutting edge when it comes to networking HD video, home control and VoIP. It’s not bad looking either with a relatively competitive price and non proprietary applications.
It’s a Linux based system with a core controller and a media distribution unit that interfaces with the systems under automation. Users get to replicate their preferences from room to room and remote to remote, no annoying multiple set ups. “Interoperability” (the key word) with whatever device you are using is the goal. So whatever you are using at the moment, a PDA or a Blue Tooth phone or a computer notebook, they become the control point.
Manufacturer Monster Cable says it’s a plug and play attitude. It’s another step closer to easy to program home control systems that are affordable.
