Home fitness tips from Uncle Sam
The FTC saw fit to create a document dealing with fitness equipment. This is good news and bad news. The bad news is that they think consumers who are looking to purchase this stuff need to be protected. The good news is that you will now be better educated.
They recommend caution when evaluating fitness equipment that makes unrealistic claims like: "no sweat - type claims" "targeted fat burning" "non-typical testimonials"
