WOW! I never thought that my old Sony FD71 digi-cam would ever be dethroned. After using the Olympus C-765 for almost a year, I still cannot believe how fine a digital pic it is capable of taking. The camera came with everything needed to take & transfer pics to a computer. The camera offers a lot of versatility in picture taking, however navigating thru the different camera mode menu's will take some practice, as there are MANY different settings that can be selected. Don't let the latter deter you from considering a purchase - just be willing to be patient like I was, and just keep using the camera for awhile. You won't be disappointed! This is not a mini camera - it's roughly the size of a regular 35mm camera. Camera can take video (MPegs) with a large capacity memory card but I haven't tried this.

Fantastic pic clarity, versatile picture taking with many options, easy uploading via USB cable hookup. MPEG capable.
Cons:
Larger capacity battery not available (As of this review), semi-complicated menu's (not good for the technically challenged or older folks), its not a small camera. |
