I thought the same thing and then I used my son's john deere one winter and he had them, his even has a high and a low setting. I bought an ariens and it just has on or off but I never find it gets too warm. Guess that is why I got the nickname Coldfingers a long time ago, ha! Coldfingers

Steve,

Not that this will help you now but I looked at the same blower as you did and I bought the ariens 9526 dlet because as you stated the honda was too hard to turn. I wanted the honda because of their reputation but the honda's tracks are in a locked position all the time, the ariens turns a lot easier as just one track pulls in the normal mode, you can lock both tracks if you want but then you have a hard time turning it as well. I still think the honda is a great machine though.

That is interesting frily, I have been looking at chainsaws and the older poulans were pretty good saws but now people that have them are saying the news models, even the pro line, aren't as good anymore. I know husquvarna makes good chainsaws so the poulans must be their lower speck models then also. Interesting.

Hi guys,
I have a honda 520 snowblower that I want to sell, its four years old and its just like new yet. The best price I have gotten is 300.00 by a dealer trading it in. I would like to get one with electric start. Is that a good price? Thanks!
