Tricks for your phone
Cell phones are handy items when you forgot why you were sent to the grocery store, or to check on your kids. But there are some handy dandy helps hiding in your phone.
· Need emergency help far from home but your cell phone is out of coverage? Dial 112 and existing networks will be searched to get you the right number.
· What if you left your car lock remote at home but locked yourself out of the car? Don’t panic. Call home on a cell phone to a cell phone and ask them to grab the remote. Then hold your cell phone twelve inches from the car door and have the person holding the remote press unlock near the connected cell phone. Voila, it’s open.
· Stolen Phone? Right now write down your phone’s serial number (you gotta take out the battery to get to the number) and put the fifteen digit number in your wallet or a safe place. If your phone is lifted, phone your service provider and tell them the code. They’ll block the handset and even if the SIM card is changed, no service is provided. That’ll save your from extra charges and keep the thief from selling it.
Just some neat stuff to know.
