These snow throwers were built by General Power & they were bought out by MTD. So MTD would be your source of parts. But most of the cross references have been removed from the parts lists. You will need a dealer that kept the paper parts lists. Is your part number JA-34347-0? If it is than the cross to MTD is 741-0696. AJ

John I did find a 2003 manual the only there is on the dealer web site if you can PM me I'll see if I can get it to you. What state is your brother in it is a shame that he can't get the help he needs. The model numbers will help us help you. AJ

The C950 prefix means that this machine was built for Sears Canada. Some of the C950 numbers are on the US Sears site but not all. It was built by Murray. If you can take some pictures all around and inside the drive box than we may be able to help you. AJ
